Approxy Privacy Policy

Approxy is a macOS app developed by Mayuniverse that lets you route network connections from selected apps through a proxy server that you configure.

No Personal Data Collected

Approxy does not require an account and does not collect, sell, or share personal data with Mayuniverse. Your selected app list, proxy settings, and connection metadata remain on your Mac.

Network Processing

When you enable Approxy, network connections from the apps you select are sent to the SOCKS5 or HTTP CONNECT proxy server that you configured. Approxy does not provide that proxy server. The operator of your chosen proxy may process traffic under its own terms and privacy policy.

Approxy does not decrypt TLS traffic and does not inspect or store the contents of your requests. It processes only the information needed on your device to route selected TCP connections, such as the selected app identifier, destination host and port, connection status, and byte counts.

System Permissions

macOS may ask you to approve Approxy's system extension and network configuration. These permissions are used only to provide the selective proxy functionality described above.
